Congratulations are in order as Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele bagged an appointment as an Ambassador for UNAIDS.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, the actress and mum of two announced it with photos of her investiture.
“I am deeply honoured to have been appointed as @unaidsglobal Goodwill Ambassador. I remain committed to using my voice and platform to support the global fight against HIV/AIDS.
Together we can work towards a world where everyone has access to the care, support, and treatment they need. I look forward to collaborating with relevant stakeholders and you all to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and promote health and human rights for all.
