Afrobeat musician Femi Kuti has jokingly said he would rather avoid being dragged into any online controversy involving dancer and social media personality Korra Obidi.
The light-hearted remark came after the pair met following a live concert in Lagos, where Korra approached the singer for a photograph.
Femi’s reaction appeared to reference the backlash Korra faced in December 2025 after she performed a twerking dance at the gravesite of Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti during a visit to the family’s shrine.
In a video shared on Korra’s Instagram page on Friday, the Grammy-nominated singer playfully called on his elder sister, Yeni Kuti, to join the picture so there would be no room for controversy.
“YK come and enter this picture, I don’t want any problems in my life. I have enough problems. Seems the gods don’t even want this picture, that’s why it’s raining,” Femi said.

Sharing the clip with her followers, Korra expressed excitement about meeting the Kuti siblings after her performance.
“Uncle Femi doesn’t want Wahala. Yesterday after my private Live concert, I met The legends @femiakuti and @yeniakuti. At Legacy Studios. I am so honored.
“Thank you @bigbirdkuti,” she wrote.
The encounter has since attracted reactions online, with many fans describing the exchange between the entertainer and the Afrobeat icon as humorous.
