Suspended Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has fired back at former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, urging him to focus on clearing his name in the ₦80.2 billion fraud case rather than allegedly orchestrating moves to have her recalled from the Senate.

In a statement on Wednesday, Natasha expressed gratitude to her constituents for standing by her despite ongoing political battles. She dismissed the former governor’s alleged recall efforts as a desperate attempt to undermine the people’s mandate.
“Yahaya Bello should concentrate on his corruption trial instead of trying to destabilise the will of the people. His actions before and during the last election, where he sponsored numerous attacks against me, are well-documented,” she stated.
Her remarks followed a statement from the Kogi State Government, which described her recent assassination claims against Bello, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Senator Ekpenyong Asuquo as “malicious falsehoods.”
Meanwhile, the APC Media Network in Akwa Ibom has called for an investigation into Natasha’s allegations, insisting she should be held accountable if found to be making baseless accusations.
As the political tension escalates, Natasha remains defiant, declaring that she will not be silenced or blackmailed into abandoning her mandate.
