Before Twitter decides on who is allowed back on the site, former President Donald Trump will not be released. Elon Musk vows that Twitter won’t make a decision until they have “a clear process in place” which should take at least a few more weeks.
Elon Musk tweeted that Twitter will continue to combat hate and harassment, and enforce its election integrity policies.
Elon Musk had previously expressed a desire for Twitter to not permanently ban users and has also expressed regret over Trump being banned in light of his refusal to stop inciting violence.

The verification process for a coveted blue checkmark on Twitter may be different soon.
You would recall on Tuesday, Musk said that Twitter Blue, the company’s monthly subscription service, would offer users verification and many other valuable benefits for just $8 per month. He outlined other potential benefits as well including being able to post long videos and audio; get replies, mentions, and searches prioritized, and half as many ads.
