A United Kingdom court has ruled that former Deputy Senator President, Ike Ekweremadu remain in detention with the UK authority over the alleged case of organ harvesting.

TheCable reports that the Central Criminal Court in the UK has adjourned the case to October 31, 2022.

Recall that Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice are facing charges bordering on conspiracy to arrange/facilitate the travel of another person with a view to exploitation, namely organ harvesting.

But in a new twist, Beatrice, Ekweremadu’s wife, was granted bail under strict conditions, following an application filed by the defendant counsels out of time.

The bail was granted on July 22, 2022. However, a similar bail application for Ike Ekweremadu was denied by the court.

They however both appeared in court today, Thursday.
