The former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) is obviously in love again after losing his wife, Alaere, to cancer in 2009.
His new lover? A German lady.
The couple was seen at the Eko Hotel and Suites on Sunday March 5 when members of the private sector community organised a dinner for former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Alaibe, who came with his lover, was all smiles as he interacted with other top-notch executives present at the classy dinner.
Recall that before the German lover, Alaibe was very close with former Miss World, Agbani Darego.
Darego’s unusual closeness to the once-upon-a time chairman of NDDC turned politician generated some uneasiness among those aware of their close relationship and were of the opinion that there was more to it than meets the eye.
Then, the former leggy beauty queen spent more time in Nigeria, and was an active member of his campaign train when he made efforts to be the governor of Bayelsa State before he withdrew in 2015.
