Popularly called E-money, Lagos socialite and businessman has been arrested for a crime many party-goers would always commit.
Businessman cum socialite, Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, has been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged abuse of the Nigerian currency.

The socialite CEO of Emmy Cargoes Nigeria Limited and founder of Five Star Music was picked up from his residence in the Omole area of Lagos State on Tuesday.
Sources within the commission said E-Money is being investigated for allegedly spraying both Naira and US dollars at a lavish party in Lagos, in violation of Nigeria’s currency regulations.
The EFCC has yet to release an official statement as of the time of filing this report.
E-Money, known for his flamboyant lifestyle and high-profile connections in the entertainment and business sectors, has long been a fixture in Nigeria’s celebrity circles.
He co-founded Five Star Music, the record label that helped launch the career of his brother, singer Kcee.
