Controversial Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has reportedly been arrested, with the incident said to have occurred during a live broadcast on Saturday, December 20, 2025, while she was engaged in an online conversation with a digital personality.
During the livestream, the interviewer asked, “The police are in your house?” to which Ogala replied, “Yes, the police are in my house.”
Moments later, the actress was heard scolding someone identified as “Charity” for granting people access to her residence despite prior instructions. The interviewer also questioned whether the officers presented a warrant and advised her to keep the livestream active.
Shortly after, comedian and former Big Brother Naija housemate Dee One confirmed the development via his Instagram page.
He wrote, “Doris Ogala has just been arrested. I tried to warn her; the allegations did not add up. Now she will have to defend her story in court. Everywhere good, my people.”
The reported arrest comes after a week of intense public accusations by Ogala against Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of Grace Nation Ministry.
The actress alleged that she had been in a romantic relationship with the cleric since 2017 and claimed she ended her previous marriage at his insistence.
The situation escalated after Pastor Okafor’s recent marriage to his new wife, Pearl. In response, Ogala reportedly issued a legal demand seeking ₦1 billion in damages for what she described as a “breach of promise to marry.”
She also threatened to release sensitive video material following a now-deleted post in which she shared a private photograph.
