Despite Their Mum’s Absence Emeka Ike’s Kids Celebrate Birthday Dancing (video)
Now a single father of four (three boys and a girl) actor and President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Ike seems to have ‘carried his cross.’
Though he has engaged his social media handle to ‘embarrass’ his former wife, Emma, a disgruntled Ike seems to have sheath his sword and decided celebrating with his firstborn, Michael Ike-Nicholas, as the dude clocked 16 on April 27.
Sharing a video of the four kids dancing, Ike wrote:
“Slaying birthday boy… the latest 16 in NAIJA…. PROPER CHILD… Michael ike-nicholas … u are blessed…amen.” (sic)
Recall that for two years, Emeka’s former spouse, Emma, citing domestic violence, had headed for the court and prayed that her now 17-year-old marriage to Emeka Ike be dissolved.
Then, Ike has continued to deny the claims, pleading with the court to not separate them as he still loved his wife and wanted her back.
But the Emeka and Emma union, which produced four children, was dissolved on March 2, 2017 by the Lagos Island Customary Court. He was granted custody of the children and Emma was instructed to refund N300 bride price.
Meanwhile, not pleased by the fact that she left four kids, Emeka posted recently on Instagram his kids’ pictures and a follower had asked that he appreciate his wife.
He replied:
“Only GOD gives children, no human can… I gave, she received n delivered. Even “rats” makes babes … a mother is farrrrr different from “wife”. May GOD help our today wives to understand “motherhood” amen.” (sic)
With his firstborn clocking 16 and the last child still young, not a few wondered how Emeka would cope. Will he remarry again?
