Desola Afod, the estranged wife of Nollywood actor Kunle Afod, has apologised to movie industry figures and withdrawn her earlier generalised remarks about the entertainment industry.
The actress’s estranged wife made the clarification in a social media post, where she acknowledged veteran actor Afeez Owo for reaching out to her.
Desola expressed appreciation to Afeez, popularly known as Afeez Owo, and apologised for disappointing him with her earlier comments.
She explained that her remarks about “Awon Omo Tiatia” were not intended to condemn everyone in the industry, adding that she was retracting the statement.
Desola, however, maintained that her grievances were directed at a few individuals whom she accused of treating her badly.
She said she had moved on from the experience, while insisting that her identity as a celebrity wife remained unchanged.
In her post, she wrote, “Can’t thank you enough, Baba Gani ( Afeez Owo). I truly appreciate you, sir, and I sincerely apologise for disappointing you with my words.
