Alimah Araoye, daughter of Nigeria’s late ambassador to Spain Demola Seriki, has welcomed a baby boy with her husband Makinde Araoye.
She announced the birth of the child with baby bump photos and video shared on Instagram.
In an Instagram post on Saturday night, socialite Shade Okoya confirmed Seriki’s wife Wosilat revealed the child was born on August 23.
Mrs Seriki’s message to her, she wrote, was: “Alhamdulilah! Ecstatic to share the birth of my grandson, a cherished gift from Allah. My heart is ablaze with joy and thankfulness. May his journey be guided by faith and virtue. Allah’s blessings are boundless!”
Seriki died on Thursday, December 15, 2022 in Madrid, Spain.
A statement by his children said the 63-year-old died peacefully surrounded by his family.
He was buried in Lagos on December 17, 2022.
