He lost his son, Daniel The Third, on June 24, 2018.
For Nigerian entertainer, D’banj, it was indeed a trying time losing a one year-old son, who reportedly drowned in an indoor swimming pool located in their Ikoyi home in Lagos.
The mother of the deceased child is Lineo, who is married to the recording artiste.
Dbanj, whose real name is Dapo Oyebanjo had confirmed the incident with a post on social media:
“Trying Times. But my God is Always and Forever Faithful.”
So many had said and written so many things on the incident and not a few family, friends and colleagues took to social media to mourn the late toddler.
However, in a post on Instagram today, Dbanj thanked all who showed love and care. Expressing surprise at the love extended to him and his wife, he wrote:

It will be recalled that Dbanj and his wife, Didi Kildrow, had hosted a party on May 22nd, to celebrate Daniel’s first birthday.
