Davita, the wife of Nigerian singer Zlatan Ibile, has recounted how a planned music collaboration unexpectedly became the beginning of their relationship.
Speaking with Bella Naija on her wedding day, Davita said she was introduced to Zlatan in London after a close friend invited her to accompany her to a meeting with the singer.
According to her, the friend, who was involved in music, wanted to connect with Zlatan for a possible collaboration. Their meeting eventually blossomed into a romantic relationship.
Davita described the encounter as the starting point of their love story and said everything that followed became history.

“Our love story began in London. We met through a friend, one of my close friends at the time. She was into music. She said she wanted to meet up with someone she wanted to collaborate with, and then we met that day, and the rest is history.
One thing I want to say to my husband is that we should keep God first, and then we are good. God got it from there.”
