Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has gifted singer Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, better known as Mayorkun, a Tesla Cybertruck.
The music star announced the surprise gift on his Instagram Story on Sunday, where he shared a photo of the luxury electric pickup truck alongside a message dedicated to his former record label artiste.
“My gift to you. I love you #iammayorkun,” Davido wrote, before instructing an associate, “#babzii_chilling pls have it delivered 2moro.”
Although the singer did not reveal the exact value of the present, the vehicle in the post is a Tesla Cybertruck, an all-electric pickup known for its distinctive stainless steel body and futuristic design.
The Cybertruck is priced between $69,990 and $99,990 in the United States, depending on the model and specifications.
In Nigeria, however, the vehicle is significantly more expensive due to shipping costs, import duties and other charges, with brand-new units estimated to sell for between ₦200 million and ₦340 million.
