Nigerian music star Davido has been left devastated after losing his beloved multi-million naira diamond ring during a trip to Jamaica.
Renowned jeweler Icebycw disclosed the news on Instagram, sharing a chat where the singer recounted the incident.
David Adeleke revealed that the ring, which he described as his favorite, accidentally fell into the water while he was on a boat.
In the conversation, a disheartened Davido said, “I’m so sad. E fall inside water for boat for Jamaica. My fav ring too. I go pay I wan do another one.”
The ring, which Davido received in February 2024, was custom-made and valued at millions of naira. The singer has now expressed his intent to commission a replacement for the treasured piece.
Fans have since flooded social media with comforting messages, sympathizing with the singer over the loss of such a prized possession.
