Superstar Afrobeats singer Davido has decided to abort his mission of helping the viral physically challenged hawker Eniola, following the revelation that Eniola is a man disguising himself as a woman to defraud people.
Davido, who initially pledged support for Eniola, took to his Twitter handle to share the news about the deception. He informed Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, who had also pledged support, about the true identity of Eniola.
In his tweet, Davido wrote: “Excellency dem job us !! Dem say nah man ABORT MISSION 😂😂.”
The decision sparked reactions online, with some expressing disappointment and others acknowledging the challenges of providing assistance in such situations.
Despite the revelation about Eniola’s true identity, some users argued that being a man does not negate the fact that he is disabled and still in need of help.
