This is their first appearance in public since the loss of their son, Ifeanyi some weeks ago.

For singer Davido and wife, former Miss Chioma Rowland, who were grieving over the death of the infant, it was time to celebrate with his uncle Senator Ademola Adeleke who was sworn in on Sunday as the sixth elected governor of Osun State.

Adeleke won the Osun gubernatorial election of July 16, 2022, against the main contender and outgoing governor of the State, Adegboyega Oyetola.

The singer’s aide Israel DMW took to Instagram on Sunday to share photos of himself, Davido and others at the ceremony.

“OGA, NO GO EVER MINUS. WE OUTSIDE @aadeleke_01 OSUN STATE GOVERNOR,” he captioned the photos.

This is Davido’s first public appearance since the death of his son Ifeanyi Adeleke.

Ifeanyi drowned in a swimming pool on October 31 at the singer’s residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State, police have confirmed.

The boy had only celebrated his third birthday days before the tragic incident. His death has left his father and mum Chioma Rowland heartbroken and off social media.
