Just as Tonto Dikeh took over social media with her interview lambasting her former husband, Churchill, Dabota Lawson, a former beauty queen and former wife of billionaire businessman, Sunny Aku has taken to Instagram to scold an actress who once mocked her for marrying an older man.
Sunny Aku was 35 years older than Dabota.
Though she didn’t mention any name, Dabota, who married the billionaire amidst pomp and pageantry but later dumped him, wrote:
“A certain Nollywood actress use to mock me and make statements like “ I can’t believe she got married for money “ actually let me use her words “ Na wa wettin girls Dey do for money eh God forbid “ , then I think she married for love ??♀️??♀️??♀️and the marriage crashed with a child involved, then now she’s chasing clout or maybe more understanding that love or money ,age difference or no age difference relationships can crumble . So she’s out here shouting “ mind your business and leave Regina Alone ???? This LIFE SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA .. SMH!!! In this world with this one life you have Just do you.”
Their marriage was the talk-of-the-town and everyone wondered what a very young ex beauty queen would be doing with a man who is 35 years older than her.
Anyways, the wedding held between Dabota and Prince Sunny Aku who runs Novena Majesty Furniture held in Lagos at the Oriental hotel in 2014 with and a few dignitaries including the then governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi, present.
Then a year and a half later, rumour mills went agog that the beautiful former beauty queen has dumped her marriage.
She denied this and posted a video of herself and her husband.
But the marriage later crumbled.
