Socialite and nightlife entrepreneur Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has become a trending topic online after unveiling customised luxury vehicles branded in support of President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections.

The celebrity businessman, who has publicly aligned himself with the All Progressives Congress and is linked to the City Boy Movement in Imo State, shared videos of the vehicles via Instagram on Wednesday.

The display featured a Lamborghini Urus and a Dongfeng M-Hero wrapped in campaign colours and decorated with images of Tinubu, Vice-President Kashim Shettima and Seyi Tinubu.

Messages including “City Boy Movement,” “APC,” and “Asiwaju Still on Motion” appeared across the body of the vehicles.

The videos quickly spread across social platforms and sparked criticism from users who questioned the timing and message behind the show of wealth.

Reacting on X, FowobiofLagos wrote: “See what they’re using the money they can use to better a community to do.”

ObiOfala commented: “This one no send wetin anybody the talk! He just wants a foot in the corridors of power! Proper house nigga.”

Referencing Cubana Chief Priest’s earlier reported outing in an APC primary, #Toocrazzyyyy joked: “He no go still see pass 14 votes.”

Other users also questioned his increasing political visibility.

beet_kon wrote: “Always trying to feel relevant in politics.”

JosephGold09 added: “This man is the saddest rich man in the country. Money dey, but purpose no dey. Just dey do like poor man.”

As of the time of reporting, Cubana Chief Priest had not responded to the criticism.

The celebrity, whose brand is built around luxury living and his popular slogan “Money Na Water,” has previously maintained that his extravagant displays represent success and abundance rather than vanity.

His latest political statement is expected to fuel further conversations around celebrity influence and political engagement ahead of 2027.
