Already, some of the guests who attended the 80th birthday party of former Supreme Court Justice, who is the Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Justice Adesola George Oguntade, are declaring their health status after returning to Nigeria.
Billionaire businessman, Chief Razak Okoya, who has gone into self isolation, has tested negative to Coronavirus. His wife, Shade, released a statement berating some mischief makers and also stating that none of the guests in attendance has shown any signs or symptoms of the deadly Coronavirus.
Shade, a close friend of Mrs. Dupe Oguntade, was in attendance with her husband and two teenage children.
Also declaring his health status is politician cum journalist, Chief Dele Momodu. The Ovation publisher made it known that it is imperative to speak about his health status since he was at the Oguntade’s birthday party in London where someone believed to have contracted COVID-19 attended and later died of the disease.
However, reports have it that two persons, who are guests at the party, have died of Coronavirus.
Also declaring his self isolation is former Ogun State governor, Chief Olusegun Osoba.
He made it known that he returned to Nigeria after the party and went into self isolation. He denied exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 and revealed he is fit as a fiddle.
Even businesswoman , Hajia Bola Shagaya revealed she had to keep off people and went into self isolation after her partying with over 350 guests in London.
Not even the Minister of Works and Housing Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola could hide the fact that as a guest of the Oguntades in London, his wife, Dame Abimbola, has self isolated herself immediately she returned to Nigeria after the March 10 soiree.
Surprisingly Mrs. Bolanle Ambode, who is former Lagos State First Lady and wife of the past Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has kept quiet on her trip to London and even attending the Oguntade’s party.
The Ambodes have kept a low profile since they left office on May 29, 2019.
Really, Bolanle’s first social function this year was when she appeared at Alhaji Razak Okoya’s 80th birthday party in January. She arrived without pomp and quietly slipped out of the venue after a while.
The Oguntade’s party was her second prominent outing this year . She was in London to celebrate with them and also mingled with some of the guests.
Mum has been the word from the former First Couple of Lagos State.
Everyone waits with bated breath for her or the husband to declare whether she chose to self isolate or turned in for a test at the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control.
