A Magistrate Court in the Yaba area of Lagos State has remanded Nigerian musician Naira Marley, whose real name is Azeez Fashola, and Lagos socialite Sam Larry, whose alias is Balogun Eletu, into police custody.
This development occurred on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.
The Lagos State Police Command had requested that Fashola (Naira Marley), Sam Larry, and others be remanded for 30 days pending the completion of their investigation.
However, Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun ruled that they be remanded for a shorter period of 21 days.
Naira Marley and Sam Larry are under investigation in connection with the controversy surrounding the death of the late singer Aloba Ilerioluwa, also known as Mohbad.
