An FCT High Court in Gwagwalada on Thursday granted bail of N50 million with one surety to a former Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke.

Adoke is standing trial on 42 counts of fraud and money laundering in connection with the controversial $1.09 billion settlement agreement on Malabu Oil Bloc.
Justice Abubakar Idris also granted bail to two of Adoke’s co-defendants.

The judge had on Monday heard the separate bail applications filed by the three of the seven defendants named as defendants in the charges.
