The Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC has warned against the myths some Nigerians have about contracting or preventing Coronavirus.
The NCDC in a post shared on Twitter warned that the consumption of lemon, ginger, garlic, palm oil doesn’t protect or prevent against Coronavirus.
The agency also stated that drinking or spraying of disinfectants such as Dettol all over the body doesn’t kill Coronavirus.
Some celebrities have taken to social media to talk about the use of ginger, garlic and other herbs as cure or prevention for Coronavirus.
