China’s Stance on Africa’s Security:

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi emphasized African-led solutions to security issues, rejecting external interference and pledging Beijing’s continued support for regional peacekeeping and counter-terrorism efforts.

Strengthening Ties:

Wang Yi reiterated China’s commitment to Nigeria’s UN Security Council bid and BRICS membership while encouraging the issuance of Panda bonds in China’s markets to support Nigeria’s infrastructure development.

This partnership underscores Nigeria’s leadership in West African security and China’s role as a key ally in Africa’s growth.
