Damilola Adeparusi, a Nigerian chef, can grin once again after receiving N1 million from a businessman.
After seeing a popular video of the chef purchasing roasted corn off the side of the road, a wealthy businessman recently agreed to pay chef Dammy N1 million.
The cook could be seen standing peacefully by the side of the road as she awaited her turn in the viral Instagram video.
She was captured on camera by a Nigerian who recognized her there and posted the clip on Instagram.
While many attacked the well-known chef, the nice businessman known only as Fekomi was touched by compassion and gave her N1 million in support.
“Tag her, I’ll DM her, and I’ll give her N1 million. The businessman responded, “At least una go fit keep shot.
Even though some internet users believed the businessman was merely seeking influence, he has disproved their claims with pictures of the chef clutching a N1 million check.
He urged internet users to cease criticizing the young woman while sharing the images since she was trying to break a record and should only be encouraged.

“After correcting and reprimanding Chef Dammy, we all need motivation. At least she tried,” someone said.
Social media users praised the chef for receiving such a large sum of money from the billionaire.
