If the candidate of the Labour Party, LP, in the February 25 presidential election, Peter Obi, beats the candidate of the All Progressives Congress at the electoral Tribunal, Nigerian artist Charles Oputa, also known as Charly Boy, has threatened to walk nude on the street.
Remember that Tinubu was sworn in as president on May 29 after the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, pronounced him the victor of the presidential election.
President Tinubu’s election is presently being contested in court by Obi and his party, the LP.
Charly Boy said on his Twitter account on Wednesday that if the former governor of Anambra State wins at the Tribunal, he would celebrate by stripping down.
He said, “What are you going to do that day when Tribunal announce say Peter Obi don win even before the case reach Supreme Court?”From one end of Bodillon to Falomo [sic], I ride a nude waka.
Peter Obi was recently praised by Charley Boy, a fervent fan of the Obidient movement, who referred to him as the “chosen one.”
The seasoned performer further said that the former governor of Anambra is his “Jesus on earth.”
He was praised by Charly Boy for his humanitarian efforts and for sharing his 62nd birthday on Wednesday with thousands of displaced people in several IDP camps in the Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.
In a statement, he stated: “Yesterday, His Excellency Peter Gregory Obi spent his birthday with more than 18,000 displaced people in many IDP camps in the Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State. He gave them checks and a truckload of food and promised them a new Nigeria.
“I don’t tell una say Peter is my own Jesus here on earth, no be like some great grandfather wey suppose go tanda for der village dey still measure Prik with little kids,” the speaker said.
Peter is the “Chosen One,” hence he cannot be a mate.
