Well known for his frequent use of the term ‘phenomenal,’ Nollywood actor Charles Okocha seems to have ignited wedding rumour on social media, what with wedding photos he shared.
On Tuesday, the actor shared photos of himself with a woman on Instagram and added an interesting hashtag/a ring as caption.
“MICHARLES2024 💍,” he wrote on Tuesday.
This post has been interpreted by many to mean he is set to marry before the end of the year.
Felicitating him in the comment section of his post, Super Eagles stars Victor Osimhen and Kelechi Iheanacho wrote, “Congratulations bro.”
Former Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi wrote, “Congratulations my gee.”
Actress Didi Ekanem also congratulated him.
Charles already has two children, male and female, from different women.
In an earlier interview, Charles said he was not ready to get married because of the increasing divorce rate.
He said, “The truth is I have never been married in my life and I am a happy man. You and I know what is going on these days, you see a couple married for a couple of years and next, they are divorced.
“People you see as role models are getting divorced and when you see them you are like what is going on? These are people you have been looking up to and now they are divorced, how then do you want me to get into this marriage thing?”
The actor said he was focused on taking care of his children.
