Former President Muhammadu Buhari and wife Aisha have welcomed another grandchild.
This time, it’s a baby boy from their daughter Zarah, who married Ahmed Indimi.
Taking to Instagram, Ahmed’s sister, Rahmayi, announced the arrival of the newborn and posted a photo of former First Lady, Aisha Buhari and Senator Remi Tinubu, who is wife of the President.
Rahmayi wrote, ““llah yaraya mana baby Aisha Ahmed Indimi. Her Excellency,First Lady and former First Lady with Alhaji Bashir Hadeja.”
Meanwhile, First lady Remi Tinubu and wife of the vice president Nana Shettima paid a visit to Mrs Buhari to welcome her home following her stay with one of her daughters who was recently delivered of a baby.
On Wednesday, Mrs Tinubu shared on X photos of the visit.
She said: “It was a pleasure for me and the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima to be at the residence of former First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Dr. Aisha Buhari to welcome her back home after her stay with her daughter to nurse her new grandchild.
“May God bless the new baby, her parents, and the grandparents.”
In 2022, Buhari welcomed his first great-grandchild from his granddaughter, Aisha Mukhtar.
Mukhtar is the daughter of Fatima, Buhari’s second daughter, and a board member of the Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Examiners of Nigeria (CIFCFEN).
