The online battle between Nollywood actresses—Iyabo Ojo and Lizzy Anjorin— has taken a new dimension.
With the warnings issued to Lizzy Anjorin ton the mentioning of her name on any of her numerous shows on social media, Iyabo Ojo has sought refuge in the law.
Just a few minutes ago, Iyabo Ojo , who has been a victim of Lizzy’s social media attacks on some of her colleagues, has shared copies of her lawyers letter to Lizzy Anjorin.
Stating the numerous damages Lizzy has exerted on their client, Iyabo Ojo, the law firm demands an apology and a sum of 500,000,000 naira to be paid as damages.
The letter has a 14-day ultimatum for Lizzy to do the needful.
Recall that Lizzy had taken on Iyabo Ojo for a while now accusing her of being the face behind the mysterious gossip blog known as Gistlovers.
Not only that, Lizzy had also accused Iyabo and Tonto Dikeh of masterminding the slander on Nairamarlery as a result of Mohbad’s death.
In the same vein, Lizzy has been on a name-calling spree and labeling Iyabo Ojo and her kids as prostitutes who sleep with same men for money!
She had given certain names to Iyabo Ojo on her page and fires innuendos to her and her partner, Paulo.
Lately, Lizzy almost took on comedian Helen Paul who dropped a joke on her page and when Iyabo Ojo sent a comment, Lizzy and her followers wanted to attack Helen.
But Helen was quick to apologise and was left off Lizzy’s hook.
Lizzy has chosen to call Iyabo Ojo Septeri, Obo Turkey and many more names. Maybe this legal action will set a caution for the warring actors on social media.
Lizzy is yet to respond.
