Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has won the Lagos State Governorship election.
Sanwo-Olu was declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday morning.
The incumbent governor, who is standing for a second and final term, beat his closest rival, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party (LP) with 449,805 vote margin to emerge victorious.
He scored 762,134 votes to defeat Rhodes-Vivour who polled a total of 312, 329 votes.
Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Adediran Olajide aka Jandor came third on 62, 449 votes.
