Floyd Mayweather has knocked out real estate competition with his new Las Vegas abode.
The 41-year-old retired boxer confirmed the purchase via two Instagram posts, matching images of the home in the listing. “My new home, I’m truly blessed,” both posts read.https://www.instagram.com/p/BpLzqe5g32j/?taken-by=floydmayweather
The home was purchased for $10 million by an LLC, which is owned by Mr. Mayweather, property records show. The sale was noted on property records on Monday.
The single-story home has five bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms. It includes two guest houses and has heated floors throughout, said Kamran Zand from Luxury Homes Las Vegas, the listing agent. He did not confirm that the house was purchased by Mr. Mayweather.
The nearly 24,000-square-foot home sits on 1.41 acres of land, Mr. Zand said. There are indoor and outdoor pools, as well as two detached four-car garages. A commercial elevator connects the one-story house to the basement, just off the master bedroom. It was not immediately clear when the home was listed.
Mr. Mayweather, who retired in August 2017, went undefeated in his professional career. Trained by his father and his uncle, Mr. Mayweather spent his career in multiple weight divisions, though he won a bronze medal at the 1996 Olympics as a featherweight.
