Relationship therapist and social media influencer Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has expressed her grief following the death of her nine-year-old son, Bryan, saying the loss remains a shock she may never overcome.
In a touching tribute posted on Instagram on Sunday, the influencer reflected on her late son and the gifts she had promised to get him before his death.
“I will keep living in denial. I miss you. I bought the iPad I promised you, and also the bicycle,” she wrote.
“This is how I will forever remember you.”
She also expressed her belief that Bryan was in heaven, promising to keep his memories close wherever she goes.
“I know you are in Heaven, but I promise to carry your memories everywhere I go. I miss you, my baby; I will never recover from this shock. Rest on my guardian angel,” she added.
The tribute followed an interview in which Blessing spoke about her son’s death after regaining freedom from months of detention.
She revealed that Bryan had battled chronic asthma from birth and had experienced repeated hospital admissions. She said she learnt while in custody that he had been using two inhalers.
According to her, the family was informed that the nine-year-old died in hospital at approximately 6:30 a.m. on a Monday.
Blessing also disclosed that Bryan had once dreamt about his own death and shared the experience with some relatives before he died on June 8.

She said her son told his brother, Darell, her sister, Precious, and his grandfather about the dream, but did not mention it to her.
“When my son was alive, he dreamt that he died. He told his brother Darell and my sister Precious, who prayed for him. He also told my Dad, but he never told me,” she said.
Blessing CEO was granted bail on October 24 after spending months at Kirikiri Prison in connection with separate fraud allegations.
