Social media personality Blessing CEO has revealed that she has been transferred to the Kirikiri Correctional Centre following her recent arraignment over an alleged N69.15 million fraud case.

The influencer, whose real name is Blessing Nkiruka Okoro, was on Tuesday arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) before Justice R.A. Oshodi of the Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos, on charges relating to obtaining money by false pretence and alleged theft. She pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Following the court proceedings, the judge ordered that she be remanded pending the hearing of her bail application and commencement of trial scheduled for July 16, 2026.

The development comes after she was also granted bail in a separate case before the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, where she is facing allegations involving N36 million.

Providing an update through her Instagram page on Wednesday, Blessing CEO disclosed that she is currently being held at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre and is facing three separate matters involving the EFCC.

According to her, the cases include the N36 million matter, the fresh N69.15 million allegation, and another case linked to donations she received during a cancer treatment fundraising campaign.

While maintaining her innocence, she insisted that she never sold any property belonging to another person and expressed confidence that the legal battles would eventually work in her favour.

“3 charges with EFCC. 1st 36 million naira wey I don pay finish 000. Tenancy dispute. 2nd 69 million naira, Tenancy dispute. I did not sell anybody houses my office. Will gist you all after the case is over. But I am in high spirit,” she wrote.

The influencer also addressed the third allegation involving funds donated during a health-related appeal.

“3rd cancer drama, 13 million donated and the gal wey say I doctor her result. Pleaded not guilty to all of the charges after spending 26 days in EFCC custody.”

Confirming her transfer to prison custody, she added:

“I have now been remanded In kiriri correctional center make I go rest, pending on when perfect my bail.”

Blessing CEO further revealed that all her bank accounts had been frozen, joking that anyone receiving calls from her requesting financial assistance should not be surprised.

Despite the legal challenges, she remained optimistic, describing the situation as a stepping stone rather than a setback.

“It will end in praise. Remember say if God one use you, he needs to put you through fire. I go manage because this story is my biggest breakthrough. Watch God turn this into a big stepping stone.”

She also thanked the EFCC for what she described as unexpected publicity and assured her followers that she would return stronger after resolving the cases against her.
