The popular reality TV show Big Brother Naija will return on July 24 with its season six, organisers Multichoice said on Monday.

The housemates, who have been tested for COVID-19 and quarantined, will also be unveiled to fans on the same day.

At a press conference in Lagos, chief executive officer of MultiChoice Nigeria John Ugbe said, “With each season of BBNaija we task ourselves on delivering great content that will take the excitement a notch higher and meet the entertainment needs of our customers. For this sixth season, we are pulling all the stops to give our customers a show like never seen before from Nigeria with end-to-end production best practices under global health and safety standards.”

The housemates, who will be competing for the grand prize of N90 million, will spend 72 days in the Big Brother house.

Laycon won the last edition and went home with a grand prize of N85 million worth of prizes.

This year’s edition will see fans vote for their favourite housemates via the show’s website and application. The organisers said they are dropping the SMS voting system to allow fans from outside Nigeria to participate.
