Popular comedian Ayodeji Richard Makun, commonly known as AY, has issued an apology letter to Nigerian singer Davido on his social media page.
Previously, during a recent event, AY made remarks about Davido in which he referred to the singer’s manhood as a “small preek” and mentioned that Davido had been impregnating ladies with it while he himself hadn’t been able to impregnate a lady for about 13 years.
In response, AY has used his Instagram page to extend a formal apology to Davido. He expressed his regret for the way the joke came out in Warri and acknowledged that it wasn’t funny like it was during his tour of the US and Canada.
AY also mentioned that Davido has every right to be angry after seeing how the media used his comments.
He stated, “Please know that it is always a learning experience for all of us in the entertainment business. I deserve any backlash or negative thoughts coming my way for the joke that was badly delivered in Warri.”
AY concluded his apology by emphasizing his love for Davido and referring to himself as Davido’s number one fan.
