Comedian Ayo Makun aka AY and his wife Mabel have welcomed their second baby 13 years after the birth of their daughter Michelle.
The excited father made the announcement in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
The 50-year-old also posted a video of himself shopping for gifts before visiting his wife at the hospital.
“Our prayers in the last 13 years has been answered. AYOMIDE thank you for making @realmabelmakun and I, Mummy and Daddy again. Thank you for making Michelle a BIG SISTER. Thanks to everyone who kept us in their prayers and never stopped feeding us with positive vibes.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. GOD’S TIME IS ALWAYS THE BEST,” he wrote.
Celebrities like Toyin Abraham, Shan George, Amara Kanu, Tega Dominic, Owen Gee, Kiki Omeli and others congratulated the couple in the comment section of the post.
The couple has known each other for 16 years and have stayed together in spite of speculations that all was not well between them particularly between 2006 and 2007.
Michelle, their daughter, was born in 2008.
