Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has lost his son-in-law, Alhaji Adamu Modibbo. Alhaji Adamu Modibbo. Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has lost his son-in-law, Alhaji Adamu Modibbo.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s presidential candidate in 2019 announced his in-law’s demise in a tweet on Sunday evening.

He wrote, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon. Alhaji Adamu Modibbo, was more than a son in-law to me. A loving & compassionate father to his immediate family & to all that he encountered in his impactful journey of life. May Allah forgive his sins & grant him Aljannah Firdaus. Ameen.”

Modibbo, a retired banker, was a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in Adamawa State in 2019.
