The campaign train of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar took on another dimension with the introduction of his fourth wife, Jennifer into the already laid-down campaign structure.
Though the first wife, Titi, has been on the go and urging women to vote for her husband, the recent addition of Jennifer whose name is also Jamilah, has given the campaign another outlook.
Jennifer, who was in Lagos on Tuesday with Peter Obi’s wife, Margaret, was received by Lagos State South East, South South and Arewa Women’s Group in Diaspora.
To also receive the Jennifer-Obi contigent was federal lawmaker, Hon Rita Orji, who represents the Ajeromi-Ifelodun Federal constituency at the House of Representatives.
In one of her posts on Instagram, Jennifer reflected, “A few weeks ago in December, I paid a courtesy visit to our revered father, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe, the Obi of Onitsha, to solicit the support of my Kinsmen for my husband, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, in the upcoming Presidential Election 2019.
I would like to reiterate my message to the good and blessed people of Onitsha, my illustrious people, my noble kinsmen.
Your In-Law, my husband, Atiku Abubakar, is counting on your support to win the election in February.
I am your daughter and your in-law is my husband. You asked me to marry him and here I am seeking your support for his presidential ambition – Please, do not let us down.
A PDP led Government will guarantee the desired economic and social development of the Nigeria that we all yearn for.
I am grateful for the support and blessing from the throne of the Obi of Onitsha, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe.
I urge each man and woman from Onitsha, and all Nigerians to get their PVC cards ready, and come February 16th, come out en-masse to vote for Atiku Abubakar as the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
God bless us all (Amen)”
