The family of Afrobeats star Asake has broken their silence regarding the controversy surrounding the singer and his father, Fatai Odunsin, who is reportedly battling a stroke.
The controversy began after a video surfaced showing Asake’s father appealing for financial assistance, prompting discussions about the singer’s alleged neglect. Asake later responded in a TikTok video, adding to the speculation.
In a new development, Asake’s family has now accused him of neglecting not only his father but also his alleged daughter, Zinat, and her mother. The family called on Asake to take responsibility and expressed willingness to undergo a DNA test to confirm the child’s paternity.
