The residence of Nigerian music duo Adegbodu Twins has been attacked by armed robbers, just days after the burial of one-half of the pair, Taiwo Adegbodu.
The incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday night around 9 p.m., leaving members of the family shaken and distressed.
Speaking in a video shared online on Thursday, Kehinde Adegbodu, the surviving twin, revealed that the intruders made away with several valuables, including clothes, shoes, mobile phones, and gold items.
He also raised concerns about the safety of his family, clarifying that he does not have access to any funds contributed during his late brother’s burial.
According to him, the attackers may have been searching for the burial donations. He recounted that one of the robbers was heard making a phone call during the operation.
“Kehinde is not at home. We met his wife and his late brother’s wife with their children. We can’t find any money in the house,” he quoted the caller as saying.
Kehinde explained that he was away in Osun State when the incident happened and had to rush back after receiving a distress call.

“I wasn’t at home when the incident happened. I was in Osun State when my late twin brother’s wife called me. I had to rush down home because everyone at home was scared and the children were terrified seeing people with guns. Please I don’t have any money with me again. I have used the money donated for Taiwo’s burial and the finishing of our uncompleted building where he was buried.
“And if you’re coming for me for offending you, please forgive me. I’m pleading for forgiveness even though I know that I did not offend anyone. I’m doing this video because my family is no longer safe. I don’t want our name to become popular again for bad news,” he said.
Taiwo Adegbodu passed away on March 1, 2026, after reportedly suffering a heart attack and was laid to rest on March 31.
