Vice President Yemi Osinbajo left Eagle Square, the venue of the ongoing presidential primary of the All Progressives Congress as ex-Lagos State governor,  Bola Tinubu takes an early lead in the ongoing counting of delegates’ votes.

Although 12 of the 27  ballot boxes used for voting had been sorted out,  at the time of this report with actual counting yet to start, Tinubu already had 50 percent of the votes.

The sorting involves the mentioning of the name of the candidate on each of the ballot papers as selected by the voter.

Other candidates who have gotten significant votes are ex-transport minister Rotimi Amaechi, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Senate President Ahmad Lawan.

The sorting of votes was still ongoing at the time of this report.
