The All Progressives Congress (APC) has rescheduled its House of Representatives primary election ahead of the 2027 general elections, moving it to Saturday, May 16, 2026.
The party disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
Morka explained that while the date for the House of Representatives primaries has changed, all other previously announced primary election dates remain unaffected.
According to the revised timetable, the party’s primaries will now hold as follows:
House of Representatives – Saturday, May 16, 2026
Senate – Monday, May 18, 2026
State House of Assembly – Wednesday, May 20, 2026
Governorship – Thursday, May 21, 2026
Presidential – Saturday, May 23, 2026

The APC said the adjustment is part of its preparations for a smooth and well-coordinated primary election process ahead of the 2027 polls.
