Though pregnant, she had her baby a few days ago and her husband took to social media to announce the arrival. Many congratulated the couple.
But Nollywood actress Funke Abisogun AlHassan, died in the evening of Sunday October 22, 2017.
A family friend, a filmmaker, Tunde Ola-Yusuf broke news of her death on Instagram and wrote:
ADIEU FUNKE…
Just days ago, people celebrated with you for the delivery of Ur baby, now the Sun set at noon and U are no more…
May God look after the new born child and give Ur husband, the family, friends of the family and the industry at large the fortitude to bear the loss.

This is the fifth death in six months in the Nigerian movie entertainment industry. In May, Moji Olaiya died two months after having her baby in Canada.
Other deaths recorded this year were that of Modupe Oyekunle aka Oyinbo, who died in April during childbirth in Abeokuta, Ogun State. A month after, Olumide Bakare and Adeshina Adesanya aka Pastor Ajidara.
