Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay has dismissed reports suggesting she has reunited with her estranged husband, singer 2Baba, following the circulation of a video showing them dancing together at a nightclub.
The video, which resurfaced online and quickly gained attention, fuelled speculation that the former couple had reconciled after ending their marriage. However, Annie has insisted there is no truth to the claims.
Taking to her Instagram Story on Monday, the actress said the footage being shared was old and criticised the spread of misleading reports.
“Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere,” she wrote.
Annie and 2Baba exchanged vows in May 2012 and welcomed two daughters, Isabella and Olivia, during their marriage.
Their separation became public in January 2025 after the Afrobeats star announced that they had gone their separate ways, ending a marriage that lasted over a decade.
Since then, 2Baba has moved on with Edo State House of Assembly member Natasha Osawaru. The singer confirmed their relationship, proposed to her in February 2025 and they later got married in a private ceremony in July of the same year.
