Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has taken to social media to vent her frustration after her Samsung phone was reportedly stolen during an event.
Sharing her ordeal on Instagram, the actress revealed that the phone, featuring a screensaver photo of Angela Okorie and her son, was taken from the hands of an event MC and has been missing for over a week.
Angela expressed disbelief that someone could commit such an act in 2024, emphasizing the emotional significance of the device, which contained personal contacts and memories.
Despite her hope that the thief would recognize the sentimental value of the screensaver and return it, no one has come forward.
In her post, Angela Okorie did not hold back, condemning the act and laying curses on the individual responsible. She highlighted the futility of stealing, stating that such actions only bring shame and negativity into the culprit’s life.
Angela Okorie post read in part:
“…Doesn’t [the thief] know that the owner of the phone can give you more than a million if you find it? Why steal it? Stealing a person’s phone won’t change your life; it makes you a terrible person, a thief, a destroyer… If you are the one holding my Samsung phone, may Heaven judge you… But I didn’t lose a life, and I know God will double whatever I’ve lost.”
The actress concluded her post by thanking God for her safety while criticizing individuals who buy stolen phones, warning them of the consequences of their actions.
Angela’s passionate post has sparked reactions online, with fans expressing solidarity and condemning the theft.
