Actress Funke Akindele has won the best actress award in a comedy category at the 2022 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).
Funke Akindele won against her fellow nominees Nse Ikpe-Etim, Nancy Isime, Bimbo Ademoye and Sarah Hassan.
The filmmaker was announced the winner of the category at the award ceremony held on Saturday at the Eko Hotels and Suites in Victoria Island Lagos.
Funke won for her roles in the movie Omo Ghetto: The Saga.
