Ondo born former PR guru and former Information Minister and NSC boss, Sir Chief Alex Akinyele is dead.
His death was announced by his son Constantine, Kayode Akinfolarin Akinyele a couple of hours ago. According to him, his father died after a brief illness. In his post on his Facebook wall, Constantine Akinfolarin Akinyele did not state where his father passed on.
He only stated that, “With thanks giving for his life, I am sad to announce we lost our father and grand father Chief Alexander Opeyemi Akinyele earlier today after a brief illness May his soul rest in peace. He will be missed by his children, grand children, family and friends.”
Sir, Chief Alexander Opeyemi Akinyele, was Minister of Information, Former Chairman National Reconciliation Commission, Former Chairman, National Sports Commission.
He bagged the chieftaincy title of the Lisa Jigan and Lobosin of Ondo Kingdom.
