To many who believed that Badira Olaitan, one of the young wives of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, was having an affair with the MD, Lagos Parks and Garages Management, Mr Muslim Akinsanya aka MC Oluomo, here is a rethink.
The mum of three, who was one of the queens that left the late monarch before his death in 2022, took to Instagram to explain why she holds MC Oluomo in high esteem till date.
According to the queen who was Alaafin’s favourite before her exit from the palace, MC Oluomo helped her when her late husband ill-treated her and made sure she was arrested by the state security at the airport on her way to observe Umrah.
Badirat, who was alleged to be dating Fuji maestro, KWAM 1 while in the palace, revealed how she had to beg people for money to feed her kids just because the king froze her bank accounts.
In a post obtained from her Instastory, she revealed her bitter experience and how MC Oluomo came to her rescue:
“This is not a secret because me personally told people about it.
Long story short,, my babydaddy put restriction on my international passport before he died and I didn’t know.
I was travelling for Umrah last year and I was detained by DSS for 2 days.
The instruction he gave me was to detained me and transferred me to Abuja that I ran away with the kids, my own kids o.
My phones and everything was seized and it was only my sister who knows where I was because we are both on board. She called everybody she could to help but they couldn’t do anything except Oluomo who came to my aid because my mum cried to Igwe and I was set free. So what do you all want me to do? Turn him to my enemy because y’all don’t like him? If that is what y’all do, I won’t do that, I will forever be indebted to him, I didn’t see anyone and me not coming here to call anybody out does me I should accept anything thrown at me. I couldn’t eat or bathe for 2 days. It was in the morning of the 3rd day that I was set free. Just because I didn’t come here to say everything that happened to me after I left the palace like others doesn’t mean you all should judge me. This same man freezes my account when I left that me and d kids couldn’t feed on our own until I begged people for money. I was locked up in the palace for weeks before I escaped through jumping the fence. They lied that I was dating K1. I kept quiet, a lot of lies. I have hold a lot of pains and me been an introvert doesn’t mean I should let everything slide.”
Moreover, she took to Instagram to wish MC Oluomo well on his birthday lately. Badirat wrote, “Happy Birthday KING.👑😍
