Aisha, wife of President Muhammadu Buhari has paid a condolence visit to the family of late Mohamed Baba-Ari, the Nigerian Air Force pilot, who recently died in a F-7Ni aircraft crash in Abuja.
The late squadron leader was one of the three pilots in the Katamkpe Hill accident in Abuja on Friday, September 28.
Squadron leader Bello Baba-Ari, who died in the Air Force plane crash in Abuja was buried at the Gudu cemetery in the federal capital. The wife of the president disclosed this on her twitter page.

This evening I paid a condolence visit to the family of late squadron leader Baba Ali, who lost his life in a recent air crash. Many a time we lose our gallant soldiers in the cause of duty. The pain of their loss can never be forgotten,” she wrote.
Bello Baba-Ari flew the F-7Ni aircraft that crashed in Katampe area in Abuja.
Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, NAF director of public relations and information in a statement in Abuja had said:
”It is with a heavy heart that I regretfully announce that one of the pilots who successfully ejected from one of the F-7Ni aircraft that crashed earlier today has passed on. May his soul rest in peace. Additional details on the incident will be communicated,” Daramola said.

The two NAF aircraft had crashed in the FCT when they were carrying out their daily rehearsal ahead of their display for Nigeria’s 58th independence anniversary on October 1 in the Federal Capital Territory.
