Despite the loss of gold at the just concluded 2019 African Cup of Nations, the Nigerian national team, Super Eagles, has reason to smile as Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola redeemed his pledge.
Recall Aliko Dangote and Femi Otedola had together pledged $75,000 for every goal scored by the Super Eagles in the knockout stage of the tournament.
Today, Femi Otedola redeemed his pledge to the representatives of the Super Eagles by gifting them $75,000, which is approximately N27,0000 million.
He shared the photo above and wrote:
“Integrity is keeping your word. I redeemed my pledge of $25000 per goal to representatives of the Super Eagles (L-R) Chidi Ngoka (Equipment Manager), Enebi Achor (Team Manager) and Defender Kenneth Omeruo today in my office’”
